To the Editor,Â
As the new Postmaster, I’m excited to connect with the residents we proudly serve. Â
In communities like ours, the Postal Service is part of daily life. We serve families, small businesses, and neighborhoods that count on us for reliable service and a trusted connection to the wider world.Â
As Postmaster, I believe local engagement matters. That means understanding the needs of our customers, supporting our employees, and helping ensure the Post Office remains a dependable part of the community. Whether someone is running a business, or simply stopping in at their neighborhood Post Office to mail a letter or package, every interaction matters.Â
As the country moves toward its 250th anniversary, this is also a reminder of the lasting role the Postal Service has played in connecting the nation. That national mission begins in local communities like Northfield.Â
I look forward to serving this area and becoming a visible, active part of the community. Sincerely,Â
Amey FernandezÂ
Postmaster, Northfield Post Office
