Fire Station

Russ Mazzola, Steve Wright, Rick Youel met with Macedonia Fire Chief Ripley to have a preliminary discussion about moving the fire station to the service garage lot.

When I asked Northfield Center Trustee Russ Mazzola about this, he stated: “We started having preliminary work sessions in 2019 around the potential of moving the fire station from Rt 82 to our service yard. It’s very preliminary and we are at the stage where we still need to test the soil to see if it’s viable.”

The soil will be tested mid July and they will meet again at the end of July.
