MAYOR'S REPORT
We are working on a video about the veteran banners with Gary Miller.
ENGINEER'S REPORT
Presented by Richard Wasosky
- Worked on Houghton final project inspection. Sent final punch list to contractor. Project will be about 50,000 under budget upon completion.
- Dollar General Project is going well
- Ledge Road phase 2 is complete.
POLICE REPORT
Submitted Police Chief John Zolgus.
The Report is for the month of April of 2020
- First I would like to report that all our Officers are healthy and we continue to take precautions with our daily activities. We are still having the Police Station, Fire Department, and Service Office area on Ledge Road sanitized on a weekly basis along with vehicles.
- Call volume is still way down from the normal.
- I have had weekly meetings with Chief Buss reference CDC guidelines along with State and County guidelines to ensure we are staying safe through this pandemic.
- Total calls for service for April were 280.
LEGISLATION
The Village of Northfield is applying for a grant for Smith Park playground.
