On a sunny day at the Smith Park in Northfield Village, children arrived with their parents, bags and baskets in hand. Many children had boots on, which was good because of the sogginess due to the snow earlier in the week. The Akron Zoo talked to the children and brought a live bunny.
Children visited and posed for pictures with the Easter Bunny. Earlier in the day the Easter Bunny actually went door to door and greeted the children (see related article).
But the big event of the party was the Easter egg hunt. Some children plucked them right up, others needed parental assistance.

After, everyone enjoyed snacks and counting the bounty.
