NORTHFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio – Northfield Village Police responded to two incidents during the week of January 14-20, 2026, including a criminal trespass arrest at a local casino and a traffic collision involving a police cruiser.
Criminal Trespass at MGM Casino
On January 17 at approximately 6:38 p.m., officers were dispatched to MGM Casino at 10777 Northfield Road for a report of a subject with a lifetime ban on the property. Officers located and arrested the subject, who was transported to Northfield Village Police Department headquarters for booking on charges of criminal trespass.
Traffic Collision on Northfield Road
Later that evening at 11:02 p.m., a traffic stop on Northfield Road resulted in a vehicle collision with the rear end of a police cruiser. Summit County Sheriff Deputies responded to conduct an investigation into the incident.
