I understand my driveway will be plowed after a snowfall of 4 OR MORE INCHES, and only ONCE within a 24 HOUR PERIOD, unless otherwise determined by the Service Superintendent and ONLY after all Village streets have been cleared to the satisfaction of the Service Superintendent. The recommended hours of plowing for senior driveways are from 7:00 AM until 11:00 PM, but it may be necessary to plow the driveways outside of the recommended time period. Driveways will be plowed with one push or pull 8’ wide from the first entrance of the residence to the street. No sidewalks, doorways, steps, entrances, turn- arounds, or extensions will be cleared. I understand I must find other resources if I need help with removing the snow from other areas.

The Village is not responsible for damaged mailboxes that are the result of plowed snow and slush. Boxes that are too close to the street as defined by the postal regulations and boxes that were not sturdy to begin with will not be paid for or replaced by the Village. The Village has a right to determine whether or not mailbox damage was caused by a snow plow or not.

The Village is not responsible for clearing the doorway area and/or sidewalks.

Your initials on this form confirm that you understand and are in agreement with the terms of the SENIOR SNOW PLOWING SERVICE PROGRAM. The Village retains the right to cancel your service at the Village’s discretion even after you are approved for the program in the event you or anyone in your household engages in unreasonable behavior toward any Village employees or officials or submit excessive and unreasonable complaints regarding your service.

Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions, contact the Service Department at 330 468 4363.
