ANTONIO S. “TONY” GONZALEZ, age 88, of Northfield, passed away November 24, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Oralia “Lollie” (nee Villaneuva); loving father of Rosalinda V. Flores (Luis), Alicia, and Antonio Jr. (Beth); cherished grandfather of Deanna, April Rose, Raymond II, Owen, Gavin, Marybeth, Annalise, and Julianne; dear brother of Maria Cardona (the late Albert), Olivia Ivans (the late Mike), and an uncle to many. Preceded in death by his parents Braulio and Maria Gonzalez (nee Salas); sister Oralia “Lollie” Barbee (the late Jim); brothers Braulio and Claudio. Retired from United States Air Force after 20 years as well as retiring from Fisher Fazio’s/Safeway Foods. Longtime and active member Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe where he held many titles of responsibility. He was most proud of helping the church with its annual Fiesta’s celebrating its patron saint Our Lady of Guadalupe, usher during mass, hall monitor for high school CCD classes, and being an Eucharistic Minister. Antonio Gonzalez was a very devoted man; devoted to his faith, friends, family, and especially his wife with whom he is now reunited with for eternity.
