Obituary: BETTY LOU DECAPITE (nee Walters)

BETTY LOU DECAPITE (nee Walters), age 83, passed away on September 13, 2018 surrounded by her children and grandchildren after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.  She was born on December 23, 1934 in Apollo, PA. and resided in Valley View, OH. Betty was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband Sam. To carry on her memory and legacy are her children Cindy. DeCapite, Lisa Rodriguez (Tony), and Tina Harris (Steve) and her loving grandchildren Jacob, Samantha, Matthew, Julia, and Dominic. Betty was preceded in death by her parents John and Viola Walters.  She was the loyal sister of seven and aunt of many. Betty was kind, selfless and giving and above all else believed in family.  Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA RD. (OH RT 82), SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION ON THURSDAY FROM 3-7.  Betty’s funeral services will immediately follow at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association of Cleveland, 23215 Commerce Park, Suite 300, Beachwood, OH 44122.
