Obituary: Carl Eugene Boodey

Carl Eugene Boodey, age 83 went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 26, 2021.  Carl was the loving husband of Maggie and the late Shirley; beloved father of Cathleen (Paul) Kornuta and Sharon (John) Knafel.  He was the grandfather of Andrew (Jennifer) and Matthew (Kendra) Knafel; proud great-grandfather of Zachary, Joshua (deceased) and Evan Knafel; stepfather of Carolyn Wild and brother of Glenn Boodey.  Carl worked at the Jaite Packaging Company for 42 years until retiring at age 62.  He was a lifelong church member and a kind and gentle soul who loved God and his family above all else.  Services are being held privately.  For those asked to attend, masks and social distancing are required.  Arrangements by Johnson-Romito Funeral Home, Twinsburg, Ohio.  www.johnsonromito.com
