Obituary: Catherine “Katy” LoPresti (nee Orefice)

Catherine “Katy” LoPresti (nee Orefice), age 97 of Northfield Center, Ohio, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Sam LoPresti; loving mother of Linda (Chuck) Kocisko and the late Laura (Gary- surviving) Hickle; cherished grandmother of Von (Rob) Starkey, George McFall, John Sabol, Jason Sabol, Charlie Kocisko, Josh (Tabatha) Sabol, Sal Kocisko, and Justin Sabol; caring great-grandmother of Anthony (Katie), Kaden, Ashleigh, Brianna, Caarissa, Mason, Bailey, Chloe, Cameron, and Jaden; great-great grandmother of Autumn; and dear sister of the late Jean Merlino, Nancy Gennaro, Jennie Sidoti, Mary LoPresti, and Catherine Barbato; and a dear aunt of many. Katy was a Red Hatter and a member of the Out to Lunch Brunch and the Toastmasters. She also loved polka dancing and tap dancing. Friends will be receive friends from 4-7 PM Friday, September 1, 2023 at Johnson-Romito Funeral Home, 99 W. Aurora Rd. (Rt. 82 One Mile West of Rt. 8), Northfield, OH 44067. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM Saturday, September 2, 2023 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 9451 Brandywine Road, Northfield, Ohio 44067.
