Daniel George Fetsko, age 86 of Northfield Center, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anna (nee Tkach) and Andrew Fetsko, granddaughter Ashley Fetsko, and brothers and sisters: Margaret, John, Ann, Mary, Andrew, Magdalene, William, and Pauline. He is survived by his beloved wife Elizabeth (nee Weber); children: Mary Beth (Christopher) Zimmerman, Theresa (Adam) Karapandzich, Daniel T. (Laura) Fetsko, Robert (Mary Lynne) Fetsko, Stephen (Vickie) Fetsko, and Laura (Christopher) Minniear; eighteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his sister Elizabeth. Dan was the first in his family to graduate from college, earning a Bachelor of Science (chemistry) and Master of Science (metallurgy) from John Carroll University. He had a lengthy career in Research and Development, working for Brush Beryllium and TRW among others in the defense and aviation field. He enjoyed hiking in the park, golf, family vacations, bridge, and kibitzing at Nertz. Since his retirement, he most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
