Obituary: Daniel T. Katzenmeyer

Daniel T. Katzenmeyer, age 60 of Bedford passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Kelly Ann (nee Koster) Katzenmeyer and his beloved father Harry Katzenmeyer. He is survived by his loving children, Jacob Katzenmeyer and Jessica (Ben) Wylie and his dear mother, Sabrina Katzenmeyer and brothers, David (Amy) and Michael Katzenmeyer. Daniel had a career as a mechanic for most of his life. If anyone needed help with their car, he was always a phone call away and willing to help. In his spare time, Daniel enjoyed spending time in nature. He loved to take care of his yard and even won a beautiful yard award. When he was wasn’t enjoying his own backyard oasis, he would often frequent the local Metroparks to enjoy the waterfalls, creeks, and trails. Daniel was a loveable and charismatic son, father, and friend who was always looking for the next adventure. Family will receive friends 4-8 PM Friday, January 26, 2024 at Johnson-Romito Funeral Home, 99 West Aurora Road (Route 82, One Mile West of Route 8), Northfield Center, Ohio. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, January 29, 2024 at Northfield-Macedonia Cemetery. All those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery. www.johnsonromito.com
