Obituary: EDWARD J. BUKVIC

EDWARD J. BUKVIC, age 82, passed away on February 7, 2023. Beloved son of the late Andrew and Mary (nee Lojan); loving brother of Joseph (the late Audrey) and all the following deceased, Anne Triantos (Gus), Stephen (Theresa), Rose Dumperth, and Andrew; brother-in-law of Richard Dumperth and Frances Bukvic; cherished uncle of 20; great uncle of many. Edward was an electrical engineer by trade and worked for NASA Lewis Research Center. As a young man, he served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Segundo as an Engineman, and was a member of the Cadillac Music Municipal Championship Football Team of the 1960’s. He was dedicated to caring for his mother, Mary for many years. All are asked to gather at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, OH on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. to celebrate Edward’s Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment in the Holy Family Mausoleum at Holy Cross Cemetery.
