EDWARD J. FISCHER, JR.; 88, of Twinsburg, Ohio passed away suddenly December 9, 2023. Beloved husband of 60 years to Joan C. (Nee Kahl); Loving father of Deborah Kotik (Joseph), Edward Fischer, Christopher Fischer (Laurie), Sandra Thompson (Jeff), and Mary Rose Fischer (Dave Patterson); Cherished grandfather of Joshua Lightner, Mike Patterson, Christopher Thompson, Melissa Kotik, Kimberly Kotik, Joseph Kotik, Jr., Corey Fischer, Kahla Lightner, Jamie Thompson, Colin Thompson, Jessica Fischer, Blake Fischer, and Jacob Brulinski; Dearest son of the late Ethal and Edward Fischer; Dearest brother of Douglas Fischer (Marsha); Dear uncle, cousin and friend to many. of many. Edward was a U.S. Army Veteran. Edward, Eddie, Ed, Skip was loved by all. He was a graduate of Maple Heights High School. Ed was a skilled woodworker and business owner of Fischer Furniture Refinishing. At the age of 60, he got his pilot license and would love taking his children and grandchildren for a plane ride. Ed was a wonderful husband to Joan. He enjoyed golfing, boating and fishing but more than anything he loved spending time with his family. His love for his grandchildren and grandpets was unmatched. Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Edward’s life 10:00AM at St. Barnabas Catholic Church. Private Interment At Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
