Fern W. Buescher (nee Wiegand), age 95 of Northfield Center, Ohio, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Gilbert L. Buescher; loving mother of Paul, James (Anne), and Daniel (Lynn) Buescher; dear grandmother of Rodrick (Brandi), Jessica (Austin), Peter and David; great grandmother of many; great-great-grandmother of one; and a cherished friend of many. She was also preceded in death by her seven brothers and two sisters. Fern and Gil were avid bowlers, continuing playing into their retirement. Fern was an entertainer, enjoying playing the piano, singing and dancing. She was a former member of the Traveling Troupe where she sang and danced for troops in the hospital. Fern was also a devout Catholic and a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105 (www.stjude.org).
