FRANK EDWARD ZUPANCIC passed away peacefully at his home in Concord, OH on March 28, 2023. He was 74 years old. Frank graduated from Saint Michael’s in Independence and then enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving his tours the USS Pintado, an attack submarine and the USS Tecumseh, a ballistic missile submarine with the rank of MM3 (a missile maintenance man).
Frank is the son of the late Anton and Ella (nee Sebenik) and the beloved husband of Vida (nee Miilu). He was preceded in death by his first wife, Diane (nee Kmitt). Frank is the step-father of Matthew Miilu (Jennifer) and Andrew Miilu. He was Papa Z of William. He was the dear brother of Sandie Bender and the late Tony; uncle of Kimberly Bender, Craig Bender (Michele), and the late Kenny Bender; great uncle of Austin, Aurora, Shane, Marielle, Jocelyn, Greta, Drew, and Wade. He will be greatly missed by many extended family members and friends!
Frank enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and Porsche Club buddies, as well as traveling extensively. He will be remembered for his generosity and love for his family.
