GENEVIEVE ANNA PETSCHE, 98, of Cleveland,Ohio passed away on Thursday November 2 at the Villa of St.Joseph. She was born on September 29,1919 in Cleveland, to John and Alexandra(Krzsiek) Baraszcz. She grew up in Cleveland where she attended Sacred Heart Elementary School and Albert Bushnell Hart through the ninth grade. She married John Anthony Petsche on August 28,1948. She enjoyed gardening and after moving to Warrensville Hts. had a fairly large garden that helped feed her family over the years. She loved animals. Highlights of her stay at the Villa were the dog shows. She also looked forward to “family” bingo and often mentioned it. She also regularly went to mass at the Chapel and when possible to the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa on the Villa property. Although life was not always easy, she enjoyed a full life. She is survived by her daughters, Carol (James) Guilford, Loretta Lampa, Susan Petsche, Janet Deditch; son, John Charles (Alla) Petsche; grandchildren, Jennifer, Mandi, Aaron; great grandchildren , Aurora and Malachi; and sister Dorothy. She was preceded in death by her husband ,parents, and brothers, Joseph, Edward, and Leonard; and sisters Florence and Helen. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in her name to the Village at Marymount. Friends and family may call at the Villa of St.Joseph 5200 Marymount Village Drive Garfield Hts.
