Obituary: George E. Kneier II

George E. Kneier II, age 61, passed away suddenly April 20, 2020.
George was a man for others, a generous soul, and the rock of his family. He was designed by God, with a heart of gold and a passion for bringing joy and warmth to everyone he met.
He spent time making new friends from complete strangers, problem solving through projects, and spread joy and laughter to all the people around him.
George had an illustrious professional career as owner/operator of GM Industrial, Chemsafe Int., Zenex Int., and JACK Manufacturing; supporting over 110 families and growing. He lovingly dedicated his life to helping others succeed.
He is the beloved father of George III, Jessica, and Alex; loving grandfather of Kalen and Eli; cherished son of George Sr and Helen Kneier (nee Misterka); dear brother of Helene Crozier (Dave), Eric (Kathy), Karen Hudock (Mike); treasured nephew, joyous uncle, loved cousin, and friend to many.
Private graveside service with a public celebration of life to be announced at a later date. Interment at All Souls Cemetery (Chardon, Ohio). Memorials in honor of George may be made to The City Mission/Laura’s Home (www.thecitymission.org/donate).
In lieu of flowers we ask that you remember George by performing a gesture of kindness like he would do: pay the tab for the table next to you, purchase a cup of coffee for the person behind you, or just go the extra distance to brighten someone’s day. George’s legacy will live on through his children, family, friends, the organizations he supported, and through the kind acts you extend to others in his memor
