Obituary: Imogene Ann Rink

November 28, 1929 – December 30, 2025

Imogene “Moe” Ann (Eakins) Rink, age 96, passed away peacefully at her home in Macedonia on December 30, 2025. She was born in Hyde Park, PA and lived with her late husband Howard “Bud” Rink in Chattanooga, TN, before settling in Macedonia.

Over the years, she spent time working at Chemadyne, the Nordonia Schools as a substitute teacher, Macedonia Police/Fire as a dispatcher and Tri County Power Tools. She was a dedicated member of the Nordonia Hills Lion’s Club for almost 30 years. She loved vacationing to North Myrtle Beach and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She proudly led her family in an annual candy making day every Christmas season. She was known as Granny Rink by many that loved and cherished her. She is survived by her son Barclay and her daughter-in-law Dianne (Hendershot) Rink. She had three grandchildren; Jessica (Brad) Tufts, Heather (Kate) Rink, and Melissa (Alex) Garcia. She was loved by her 13 great grandchildren; Matthew, Devin, Jayden, Brayden, Kaydence, Katelyn, Josiah, Elijah, Brea, Airiana, Logan, Kaley and Adalyn and great-great granddaughter Oaklynn.

Moe is preceded in death by her brother William Eakins and sister Mary Ellen Dunbar.

She will be missed but has left behind a legacy that will be carried on for many years.

There will be a Memorial Service for family and friends, on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at:Crown Hill Funeral Home, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087 from 11am-Noon, with a Memorial Service immediately following.

There will be a Luncheon held at Reinecker’s Bakery at 2PM: 8575 Freeway Drive, Macedonia,OH 44056
