Obituary: JOHN W. CLELLAND

JOHN W. CLELLAND age 86 went home to be with the Lord on June 29, 2017.  Beloved husband of Esther (nee Karhan); loving father of Pat Carey and Pam VanKannel (Dan); cherished grandfather of Emily, Jonathan, Matthew and Thomas; dear great-grandfather of Eloise. John was a graduate of Fenn College in Cleveland with a degree in electrical engineering, and he attended Management School at Case Western Reserve University.  While in college his greatest passion was singing with the Fenn Tones, and traveling worldwide.  He worked for Goodyear Aerospace, Picker Industries, and later was a co-founder of Genesis.  He retired in 1996 and sold the company to Baxter Industries. Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 W. AURORA RD (OH RTE 82), SAGAMORE HILLS where a memorial service will be held Monday at 7 P.M. MEMORIAL VISITATION MONDAY 5 P.M. UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in his name to The Seidman Cancer Center, 11100 Euclid Ave. Cleveland, OH. 44106.
