Lawrence R. “Larry” Doyle, age 87, of Northfield Center, Ohio passed away Wednesday Oct. 12, 2022 at his home with his family by his side. He was beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Filmeck); dear father of Carol (Ronald) Mimna, Larry (Kristen) Doyle, Michael (Shannon) Doyle and the late Teresa (Mark) Morilak; loving grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 5, Dearest brother of James Doyle and the late Patricia Hrusovsky, Rosemarie Fuente and Kathleen Jager. Larry served in the US Marine Corp in the Korean War and is a member of the Korean War Veterans. He worked at Alcoa and was an active member of UAW1050, which named its local headquarters, Doyle Hall, in his honor. The family suggests memorials be made to Crossroads Hospice 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr., Suite E Uniontown, OH 44685. Friends will be received Sunday Oct. 16, 2022 from 2-6 PM at Johnson-Romito Funeral Home 99 W. Aurora Road (Rt. 82 1 mile west of Rt. 8) Northfield Center, Ohio where prayers will be held Monday Oct. 17, 2022 at 9:30 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Saint Barnabas Catholic Church 9451 Brandywine Road, Northfield, Ohio. Burial at All Saints Cemetery.
