Obituary: Marjorie Eileen Lukon (Thomas)

Marjorie Eileen Lukon (Thomas), 76, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 in Akron, OH. Her family was at her side. She is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Belknap (Logue); sister, Harriet Johnston; and aunt, Marie Keim. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Michael; daughters, Michele Greenfield (Daniel) and Melissa Ruggiero (Auggie); grandson, Tenzin Ruggiero; sisters, Dawna McBride and Sherry Belknap; brothers, Butch Thomas and George Belknap; aunt, Georgia Neudorfer; many loving cousins; and her dog, Opie. Marjorie was born on October 12, 1942 in Akron and grew up in northeast Ohio and Butler, PA. She and her husband raised their daughters in Austintown, OH and retired to Las Vegas, NV in 2006. Before having children, she worked as a bookkeeper for Strouss department store in Youngstown, OH and later started an antique business with her husband. Marjorie was a kind, loving, and generous wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, particularly playing games, taking vacations, celebrating holidays, and attending the Logue family reunion each summer.
