Mary Ann Calander, age 90 of Northfield Village, Ohio passed away Monday, December 16, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles P. Calander; dear mother of Kathleen Calander and Charles P. Calander Jr.; loving grandmother of James Michael Calander and Zachary Ryan Calander; sister of the late Thomas A. (Carol-living) Flatley and the late James Michael Flatley.
Later on in life Mary Ann was fortunate to find love again and to marry Stanley Rogucki who passed away in 2004. She was survived by Stanley’s children Liz (Scott) Morrison, S. Michael (Tracey) Rogucki and Joseph (Maria) Rogucki, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Before she was married, Mary Ann worked at the Catholic Women’s League in Wheeling WV. In the 70’s Mary Ann went back to work at McDonald’s, then the S. S. Kresge Store in Northfield Plaza and later at Kmart in Macedonia. Mary Ann was part of the Panarama Club, a ladies charity organization, where she met some of her closest friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday December 22, 2024 from 2-5PM at Johnson-Romito Funeral Home 99 W. Aurora Rd. (St. Rt. 82 1 mile west of Rt. 8) Northfield Center, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 23, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St. Barnabas Catholic Church 9451 Brandywine Road Northfield, Ohio 44067.
