Obituary: Michael Dean

Michael Dean, 74, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on November 3, 2023, in his hometown. Born on January 5, 1949, in Cleveland, Ohio, Mike was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Beverly Ann (nee Dorin) and their children, Michael James Dean and Sandy Alexa Miller (Jasen) along with his grandchildren Jeffrey, Malia, Marisa, Miles, Nick, Christian and Brett. Mike was an “old soul” who longed for times to be like they used to be in the “good old days.” He had a deep appreciation for the simpler things in life and valued family above all else. Mike expressed his love for his family, not only through his words but his actions. He believed when you gave someone your word it meant something. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, providing them with unconditional love and always ensuring that his loved ones felt cherished and supported.

In his free time, Mike enjoyed indulging in his passions for Las Vegas, classic cars, and golfing. He especially treasured spending time with his grandkids and sharing his knowledge and wisdom with them. Mike proudly referred to his golf buddies as “the boys” and they held a special place in his heart and built so many memories with them through their love of golf. He was extremely proud of his grandson, Jeffrey, who is actively serving in the

United States Army and especially cherished working in his garage restoring classic cars with his grandson, Nick.

Mike was a millwright at Cleveland Pneumatic Tool/BF Goodrich for over 50 years and was dedicated to his profession. His hard work and commitment left a lasting impact on those with whom he worked.
