Obituary: Patricia J. Petterson

Patricia J. Petterson. In the early morning of August 30th, 2017, Patricia J. Letterle (Wolke, Peterson) was called home. Pat was reunited with her loving husband Donald G. Letterle, who preceded her in death in January 1976 and grandson Tommy Letterle. Pat was born to John and Anna Mae Wolke. John and Anna raised Mary Ann (Strand), Pat (Letterle, Peterson), Jim (precedes her in death) and Chris. Early in Patricia’s career at U.S. Steel, Pat was introduced to Don by her future mother in law; Katie Letterle. “Gram” and George Letterle blessed our family with Uncle Leonard, dad, and Auntie Lee.
Donald and Patricia began to nurture a family of five children; “Donny” /Donald T. (Sara Taddeo), Mary (David Marshall), “Tommy”/Thomas (Doris Trimmer), Peggy (John McCaffrey) and “Danny”/ Daniel (Barbara Vargo).
The Wolke family (Uncle Jim “ Big daddy”, Barbie (both precede), Cindy, Sandy, Jimmy, and Tommy “Tie-tie”), and the Strands (John (precedes), Mary Ann, Jack, Joni, Judy, Jim, Jerry, Jeanie, and Joey) and Letterle families were soon extended by the Shephards and the Rakityans. All of us were blessed with many laughs, and even more love.
In July of 1982, Pat married Art Peterson, and shortly after continued their adventure together in Las Vegas, Nevada. Art and Pat had many wonderful experiences as they shared their lives with each other. Art passed away in June of 1988. Patricia Peterson formed some lifelong friends in Las Vegas and her relationship with Dan Currie, Nick and too many others to name were very meaningful to her. Syd, June, Pearl, Pat and Linda were her blessings in Florida, were she resided her last adventure when she passed away. One of Pat’s most valued portion of her being was her children, grandchildren, Donny, Daniel, Elizabeth, Tommy, Jessica, Lisa, Katie, Mikey, MaryKate, Andy, Patrick and Emily and great grandchildren, Madison, Alex, Charlotte, Desmond and Tommy.
