Obituary – Reno Zaccardelli

Reno Zaccardelli, age 93, of Sagamore Hills, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025.
He was the beloved husband of Sally (nee Roth) Zaccardelli; loving father of John (Dorie), Michael, and Mark Zaccardelli; dear stepfather of Lori (Mike) Eisel, Kevin (Maribeth) Capen, and Steve (Linda) Capen; cherished grandfather of 16; great-grandfather of 14; and brother of Denny (Katherine), Eileen (the late Clyde) Hoyt, Gloria (the late Tony) Christopher, and the late Peter (Aurora), Richard (Mary), and Eddie (Ann surviving).
Reno began his journey in the seminary, studying to become a priest before he left prior to ordination. He was drafted into the U.S. Army, where he served as an assistant chaplain during the Korean War. In 1969, Reno founded his own business, Blue Line Design. He and his wife, Sally, shared 45 wonderful years together, filled with family, camping trips, and many cherished homes in Florida.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Johnson-Romito Funeral Home, 99 West Aurora Road, Northfield Center, OH 44067 (330) 468-1443.
A funeral service will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Reno’s memory to 4 Corners City Outreach Inc, 115 W. Aurora Road, Northfield Center, OH 44067.
