Obituary: ROBIN JOSEPH BUGENSKE

ROBIN JOSEPH BUGENSKE, age 85, passed away at home on March 7, 2021 with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Buse) for 64 beautiful years; loving father of Lori Sinchok (John), Sherry, David (Margaret), Steven (Debra), and Kathy Turner (Charles); dear grandfather of Emily Zaubi (Alex), Megan Sinchok, John Sinchok (Caitlin), Rebecca Sinchok (Fiance Vincent Buttitta), David Sinchok (Cassandra), Daniel Sinchok, Michael, Matthew (Nichole), Morgan, Amanda, Nicole, Charles Turner (Desarae), Ryan Turner (Rachel), Joseph Turner, Jason Turner, Christopher Turner, and Patrick Turner (deceased); great grandfather of Nathan, Adam, Peter, John Wyatt, Mason, Kaylynn, Hailey, Addison, and Rylee; son of Joseph and Genevieve (both deceased); brother of John ( Nancy) both deceased,  Ronald (Mary deceased), Thomas (Sandy deceased), Polly Pabst (Thomas), and Timothy (Lynnette).  Robin touched many lives around the world. He was the founder and chairman of Specialty Lubricants Corporation in Macedonia, Ohio which he started in 1979 in the basement of his home.  Because of his passion and dedication, the company now employs over 75 people. Robin was a two-time president of the Rotary Club of Nordonia Hills. He was selected Rotarian of the year three times.  With the help of fellow Rotarians, Robin spear headed the installation of two Solar Bore Wells in Nigeria, which was one of his highlights.  Robin was a devout member of St. Barnabas Church for over 48 years.  Robin liked nothing better than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren at his lake home in Marblehead, Ohio.  His favorite pastime was cruising on his boat, the Rock n’ Robin, entertaining in his man cave and barbequing for his large family.  Robin will be remembered for his enthusiasm, contagious laugh and his love of life.  Robin’s family will privately celebrate his Mass of Christian Burial with interment following at All Saints Cemetery.
