Steven Douglas Heim, age 62, of Northfield, OH passed away Monday, January 26, 2026.Steve is the beloved son of the late Frederic and Juanita (nee Oliver) Heim; cherished brother of Tina (Randy) Heim-Haynal, Connie Heim and the late Daniel Heim.
He lived with his sister, Connie, and took care of her no matter the circumstances. He enjoyed cooking and was a fantastic cook. He loved watching football. You could often find Steve at the rec center or the casino. He worked for many years at NAPA Auto Parts and had recently retired. He loved his life and lived it to its fullest, especially enjoying his retirement.
He made friends everywhere he went and was able to start up a conversation like he had known someone for years. He was the best son, brother, and friend anyone could ever have and was always there when he was needed. The Heim family were not the only ones to lose such a wonderful, caring person, but the world lost one, too.
The family will receive friends 4-8 PM Friday, January 30, 2026 at Busch-Romito Funeral Home, 99 W. Aurora Rd., Northfield Center, OH where funeral services will begin at 11 AM Saturday, January 31, 2026. Interment to follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park, Twinsburg. www.buschcares.com
