Obituary: THOMAS “TOM” G. SUSANEK

THOMAS “TOM” G. SUSANEK, age 71, of Sagamore Hills, passed away on July 22, 2023. Beloved husband of 25 years to Gwendolyn S. (nee Inwood); loving father to Michael, and Mark (Evie); stepfather to Heather Kostal (Carl); Poppa Tom to triplets Allie, Hannah, and Emily, Natalie and Ben Susanek, Jonah and Julia Kostal; dearest brother to Arlene Stoltz (Jim), Andrea Lanzalaca (Carl), Alexis Carr (Reverend Robert), and the late Timothy Susanek; uncle to numerous nieces and nephews; and friend to many. Retired custodian and school bus driver with the Cuyahoga Heights Local School District; and was an active member of the Lutheran Church of the Covenant. Family and friends may gather at THE LUTHERAN CHURCH OF THE COVENANT, 19000 LIBBY RD, MAPLE HEIGHTS FOR A MEMORIAL VISITATION ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 12, 2023 FROM 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Memorial Service celebrating Tom’s life will follow in the church at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Tom’s name to the church.
