Obituary: William “Bill” J. Wood Jr.

William “Bill” J. Wood Jr., age 76, of Macedonia, beloved husband to Marie (nee Filipski); loving and dedicated father to Jason J. and Tracie M. Carlson (Scott); caring brother to Kathy Hines (Dan); and Bruce (Janet); loving son of the late William J. Sr. and Evelyn (nee Faune). Retired electrician from General Electric and Chrysler. Bill was a veteran of the United States Army serving abroad in Korea during the Vietnam War. Bill was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #918 in Cuyahoga Falls and the VFW Post #1082 in Bedford. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting. Bill enjoyed his family and the many trips traveling to Las Vegas while trying his luck at poker and the slots. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.
