Obituary: WILLIAM H. JONKE, JR.

WILLIAM H. JONKE, JR., age 74, passed away at home on December 29, 2022. Beloved father of William F., Michelle Jonke Ferguson (Brian), and Kevin R.; loving grandfather of Justin Ferguson and Kaitlyn; dear son of the late William H. and Marcella “Marcie.” A graduate of John Carroll University, Bill served the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland as a teacher for over 25 years. From his time as a counselor at Camp Christopher through his time as a ticket taker at Progressive Field, Bill always put the needs of others before his own. Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA RD. (OH RT 82), SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION ON THURSDAY FROM 2-4 AND 6-8 P.M. Funeral Friday 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
