The hiring event will take place on August 31, 2023 from 10: 00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the OhioMeansJobs Center at 1040 E. Tallmadge Ave., Akron 44310. It will feature over a dozen employers including JRayl Transport, AWL Transportation, MAST Trucking, US Foods, Pepsi Co., METRO RTA, PARTA, V3, Over the Top Construction & Demolition, LLC, and more, offering competitive opportunities and pay. Residents are encouraged to share this information to all those affected by layoffs at Yellow.
