MACEDONIA, OH – Optima Dermatology & Medical Aesthetics is excited to announce that the new, state-of-the-art facility at 8183 Golden Link Boulevard in Macedonia, OH is now open.
The new 15,000-square-foot practice offers a wide range of dermatology and medical aesthetics services. This relocation to an ultra-modern facility supports Optima Dermatology’s commitment to increasing access to expert dermatology care. With the latest in dermatological devices, treatments, and clinical trial opportunities, the new practice enhances the quality of care that has made Optima Dermatology a leading dermatology provider.
New medical dermatology devices that will be introduced include the XTRAC®, Houva 4 Phototherapy, and Omnilux® blue, which offer additional, highly effective treatment options for conditions like psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema and acne. In addition, Optima is expanding its cosmetic treatments with best-in-class devices like the HALO® Hybrid Fractional Laser, BroadBand Light (BBL™), CoolSculpting®, INTRAcel™ RF Microneedling, HydraFacial®, and VISIA® Skin Analysis. This facility will also offer Mohs Surgery and begin hosting dermatology clinical trials later in the year.
Board-certified dermatologist Meredith Reimer, MD, and medical aesthetics provider Shelley Plescia, NP-C, will continue to see patients at the new location upon its opening. They will be joined by board-certified dermatologist Amy Polster, MD and board-certified physician assistant Brennen Barnett, MS, MSPAS, PA-C. Dr. Polster has been serving Northeast Ohio patients for nearly two decades, and Brennen has been serving patients in the Cleveland region since 2019.
