As we know this virus has changed many of us whether it just disrupts your daily routine or just demands us to slow down and spend more time with family. For me, it has affected me as:
1. This has affected our family as we had to cancel our plans for Spring Break! I have also become a very well diverse school ranging from grades 2, 5 and 7! Even-though we at the school of Moran do not have a set schedule, the kids know what to do, what is expected of them and they get their work completed.
2. When this virus is past us and we go back to our normal schedules, I probably will be more attune of my surroundings and social distancing between others. We WILL also take that well deserved vacation! The sun and sand have been calling my name!
3. I am most surprised by the amount of people who do not seem to care or follow rules. I am also surprised about how certain businesses are considered “essential.” I understand that we are following the Homeland Security’s list of essential, BUT I believe that list needs to be altered because this is not a natural disaster where we have to rebuild, it is a medical disaster where medical professionals, grocery stores, drug stores, and their direct suppliers or companies who make products for them are essential. So many companies are trying to stay in business so they are really stretching how they are essential. Yes, keeping people are employed is important, however, keeping people alive is more important.
