A Lantern/ Candlelight ceremony will take place on Sunday Oct.21st at The Nordonia High School Stadium. The event, to begin at 6:30 pm, will held in the memory of Nordonia graduates Peter Nero and Shelby Novak, both taken too soon in a motorcycle accident this past week. Fifty lanterns (provided by American Fireworks of Hudson) and candles will be provided on a first come first serve basis. The public is encouraged to bring their own candles and lanterns as well. Coffee, hot chocolate, cookies and donuts (provided by Peppers, Stan’s Bakery and Giant Eagle) will be available at no charge.
Please come and show your support to the Nero and Novak family, and join us to remember Peter and Shelby. Donations to the family will be welcomed to defray funeral costs. The remembrance will be in the Stadium.
