Northfield Village Police Department
- Friday, March 14 – Medical incident at Horseshoe Court involving an unconscious male with suspected alcohol abuse/overdose. NVFD transported the individual to hospital.
- Friday, March 14 – Non-criminal report taken regarding an incident at Kid Friendly Academy Daycare on Northfield Rd. No details provided; report was closed.
- Friday, March 14 – Disorderly conduct call at Firestone Auto Care Center. Officer conducted a civil standby between a customer and business staff to resolve a customer service issue.
- Sunday, March 16 – Domestic violence report at Ledge Road. A female victim reported abuse by her son, showing officers bruising on her head and arms. She signed charges for domestic violence and a temporary protection order. A warrant will be issued for the son.
- Monday, March 17 – Vandalism report at MGM Casino on Northfield Rd. Damage to a VLT machine occurred in January. The casino attempted to contact the suspect multiple times without response and now wishes to press charges.
- Monday, March 17 – Harassing communication report at Ledge Road for telecommunications harassment, following review of emails and statements from the victim.
Macedonia Police Department
Tuesday, March 11
- Officers responded to Dunkin Donuts on E. Aurora Rd for a car accident. A driver crashed into a pole due to experiencing a seizure. The driver was transported to South Point Hospital by Macedonia Fire Department.

- A suspect was charged with escape after being medically furloughed while in police custody. The individual had complained of chest pains after being picked up from Stark County Jail on an outstanding warrant. After being transported to Cleveland Clinic in Twinsburg, the suspect left prior to being evaluated.

- Officers assisted Twinsburg Police Department with a traffic stop on I-480 East near SR-91. Macedonia officers used a fingerprint scanner to help identify a suspect who had been arrested for obstruction due to not identifying himself.

- Police responded to a complaint about a dog being loose on a neighbor’s property on Cliffview Circle. The dog owner was cited for animal at large after multiple prior warnings, including incidents from October 2024 and October 2023.

- Officers responded to Best Buy on E. Aurora Rd for theft in progress. Merritt was arrested for theft after taking an Anker Power Bank valued at $89.99 without paying. Additional merchandise possibly taken from Office Max was also recovered.
Friday, March 14
- A resident reported fraudulent activity on his debit card. Unknown suspects used his card to order $425.99 worth of merchandise from an Avon Best Buy location. The suspects picked up the merchandise before the victim could cancel the transaction.

- Officers responded to Tractor Supply on Alexandria Way for a dog bite incident. A customer sustained a small bite on his right leg while shopping. The dog owner provided medical records and an Animal Bite/Exposure Report was filed with Summit County Public Health.
Sagamore Hills Police Department
Thursday, March 13
- Officers responded to Ashford Glen in Sagamore Hills for a welfare check involving a juvenile who had texted a friend about taking pills and attempting suicide. Sagamore Hills officers arrived on scene and the juvenile was transported to the hospital by Macedonia Fire Department.

- Officers responded to Stuart Lane to assist New Franklin Police Department with a missing juvenile case.
