On behalf of Fire Chief Brian Ripley and Myself, I would like to assure our community that the Macedonia Fire department is doing everything that it can to stay informed with the latest COVID-19 information.
On Friday, March 20, 2020 Mayor Molnar declared a state of Public Health Emergency within the City Macedonia (www.macedonia.oh.us, to read City Press Release). That declaration is an affirmation to all of the communities that we serve, that the administration and our leaders take the health and well-being of our residents, businesses, employees, and community seriously. The fire department has temporally suspended all public education programs and nonessential fire department business indefinitely. The only service that we will be providing will be emergency calls for Fire and EMS services.
