On November 1, 2019, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a robbery in the city of Green. It was reported that the victim had agreed to sell a pair of shoes to an acquaintance named Cordon Harris. The two individuals agreed to meet in the city of Green in order to facilitate the sale of the shoes. When the victim and his 4 friends met with Cordon Harris, Harris pulled out a handgun and robbed everyone in the vehicle. One victim attempted to roll up the window and Harris punched out the window. Harris struck the victim in the face with the handgun. The suspect stole a pair of shoes and $10 in U.S. Currency. He subsequently fled the scene. The Sheriff’s Office obtained arrest warrants for Harris on 5 counts of Aggravated Robbery (F-1) and 1 count of Felonious Assault (F-2).
Harris, age 19 of Green is described as a black male, 6’3″, and 230 pounds). Harris wears glasses at times. Harris may be driving a 2002 Honda Civic. The Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cordon Harris to contact Detective Breeden at the Summit County Sheriff’s Office at 330-643-5404 or 330-643-2181.
