CLEVELAND, Ohio, August 24, 2021 – The votes are in, and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, in collaboration with the Cleveland Cavaliers, officially announced Sarah Faith as the winner of the nationwide “From Garage to Glory” contest.

An Indie Alternative and Americana artist-songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee, Faith bases her music on her life experiences. “We congratulate Sarah Faith for winning the ‘From Garage to Glory’ contest and are pleased to reward her with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take the stage at our Induction Fest later this fall,” said Greg Harris, president and CEO, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

The “From Garage to Glory” contest received outstanding original song submissions from talented musical artists from across the country and tallied more than 80,000 fan votes throughout the campaign.

“Goodyear is all about forward motion and we’re excited to see Sarah Faith’s career make a big move forward with this program,” said Rich Kramer, Goodyear’s chairman, CEO and president. “Our first ‘From Garage to Glory’ contest exceeded our expectations and we’re grateful for the participation of so many talented artists. We look forward to hearing more from Sarah and are excited about what’s ahead for her.”

In addition to performing live on stage at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Fest on October 24, Faith will also receive $10,000 on behalf of Goodyear to go toward building her music career, among other prizes.

To notify Faith that she had won the “From Garage to Glory” contest, Goodyear and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame surprised her on a live video call, which included a special congratulatory message from Grammy-winning music producer, Che Pope. Faith also will receive a special mentorship day and studio time with Pope. Taking place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Garage recording studio, the mentorship day will give Faith the opportunity to sit down with an industry-leading producer and the potential to learn, collaborate and share music ideas.

“One of my favorite parts of my job is the opportunity to bring in new artists and help them grow in their careers,” said Pope. “Sarah Faith is such a talented singer and songwriter, and I can’t wait to see where she goes from here.”
