Film Series Kicks Off during Black History Month Spotlighting Inductees Aretha Franklin and Chuck Berry
CLEVELAND (January 28, 2020) – The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame brings back its successful Film Series with screenings taking place on select nights from February through June.
All films are shown at 7 p.m. in the Rock Hall’s Foster Theater and are free for Rock Hall members, $10.00 for non-members, and free with paid Museum admission if space permits. Advance tickets are recommended and may be purchased at the Rock Hall Box Office or online at ticketing.rockhall.com.
Moviegoers can also purchase concessions, including wine, beer and snacks, during film screenings.

Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace spotlights 1987 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Aretha Franklin as she records her live gospel album live at the New Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles in 1972.

This brand-new documentary celebrates the life & legacy of the first musician inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame – Chuck Berry.

CURAETION-25: From There To Here/ From Here to There
This film was captured on the tenth and final night of the 25th Meltdown Festival (curated by lead singer Robert Smith) at London’s Royal Festival Hall in June 2018 performing a song from each of their 13 studio albums in chronological order, displaying the evolution of The Cure’s music live on stage.

Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool is a critically acclaimed documentary about the famed trumpeter and bandleader, that contains some never-before-seen footage, along with studio outtakes from recording sessions and interviews with such luminaries as Quincy Jones, Carlos Santana, Clive Davis, Wayne Shorter, and Ron Carter.
