Welfare Checks

Police conducted two separate welfare checks during the reporting period. On October 24, officers responded to a residence on Crystal Creek Road after a woman came to the police station requesting a check on her daughter. Officers successfully contacted the individuals at the residence and cleared the call within approximately 90 minutes.

Two days later, on October 26, police received a report of a missing person whose phone’s last known location pinged in a field between Valley View and Chaffee roads. The concerned caller stated their friend had been missing for two days. Officers responded to investigate the area.

Dog Bite Incident

On October 26, a resident on Fenton Court reported being bitten by a neighbor’s dog while walking his own pet. According to the report, the other dog came out of its yard during the incident. Officers responded to the scene around 5 p.m. and cleared the call within approximately 90 minutes.

Fraud Reports

Sagamore Hills Police took two separate fraud reports during the period. On October 27, a resident from Dunham Road filed a report at the police station regarding fraudulent activity that allegedly began on October 23.

That same day, officers responded to another fraud complaint on Old North Road. The incident was reported as an ongoing issue involving hacked electronic devices and potential identity compromise. The case was linked to a previous incident reported earlier in the month.

Death Investigation

On October 23, officers responded to a residence on Walton Road after a relative discovered an elderly male deceased in his home. The call came in around noon, with officers arriving at the scene within minutes. The incident was cleared by early afternoon with no signs of foul play indicated in the report.

Police cleared all incidents without arrests during this reporting period.
