Theft
Thousands in Tools Stolen from Work Van
Eaton Ridge Drive – June 20
A resident reported a burglary from his work van overnight on June 19–20. The van was parked outside his apartment on Eaton Ridge Drive when someone broke in and stole approximately $13,000 worth of equipment.
Stolen items included Milwaukee power tools, HVAC gear, electrical supplies, an impact drill, vacuum pump, refrigerant tanks, and other hand tools. The theft was discovered when the victim attempted to head to work.
Domestic Violence
Broadview Heights Man Arrested After Strangulation Incident
Fleetwood Drive – June 21
A 41-year-old man from Broadview Heights was arrested after a domestic dispute involving three individuals.
He faces charges of domestic violence and strangulation, as well as creating a substantial risk of physical harm. Police say a blunt object was reportedly used during the altercation.
OVI/Traffic
Macedonia Man Charged with OVI
North Boyden Road – June 21
A 28-year-old Macedonia man was pulled over in the early morning hours for driving without headlights.
He was charged with OVI after testing between .08% and .17% BAC. A Northfield resident was in the vehicle as a passenger. The car was towed from the scene.

Police Respond to Threatening Statements
Southridge Road – June 17
Officers investigated a report of threatening statements made between two individuals. No arrests were made. The situation remains under review.

Fraud Report Under Investigation
Cyrus Lane – June 22
Police are investigating a fraud complaint involving a local victim and a suspect from Brecksville. Further details were not released due to the active investigation.
