Vehicle Tampering Investigated on Fleetwood Drive
Police responded to reports of possible vehicle tampering at a Fleetwood Drive residence on June 4.
Officers were called to the single-family home around 7:16 a.m. following reports that a vehicle may have been interfered with. The incident involved a 2018 black Nissan with Ohio registration.
The suspicious activity report was cleared by 8:45 a.m. with no arrests made. The case was classified as informational.
Abandoned Vehicle Removed From Canyon View Road
A suspicious vehicle was towed from West Aurora Canyon View Road following a police investigation on June 7.
Officers responded around 10:47 a.m. to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the roadway area. A 2008 gold Buick was subsequently removed by police tow.
The incident was cleared by 11:29 a.m. and handled as a standard vehicle removal.
Criminal Threats
Aggravated Menacing Report Filed at Station
A Canyon View Road resident filed a walk-in report of threats and harassment at the Valley View Road police station on June 8.
The complainant arrived at the station around 9:51 a.m. to report aggravated menacing. The incident involved a second individual from Broadview Heights who was identified as a subject in the case.
The report was filed under Ohio Revised Code 2903.211 for aggravated menacing and cleared by 10:49 a.m.
Death Investigation
Body Found During Welfare Check on Eaton Ridge Drive
Sagamore hills police discovered a deceased person during a welfare check at an Eaton Ridge Drive apartment complex on June 3.
Officers were dispatched at approximately 6:35 p.m. and arrived on scene by 6:49 p.m. The incident was classified as “DOA and body found” with the case cleared by 10:02 p.m.
Two officers responded to the call at the residential complex. The investigation was handled as an informational report with no additional details released.
