WASTE DISPOSAL
The Solid Waste Disposal and Recycling contract with Kimble Recycling and Waste Disposal concludes at the end of June of this year. Sagamore Hills is requesting bids and will publicly open and read aloud the bids on May 14th noon at the Township Safety Center. More info about the bid is here.
The contract would include 2 containers. One for garage and one for recycling. There will be a discount for senior citizens and handicapped citizens. It also includes a bid for residents requesting backyard pick up.
The contract does not stipulate if pick up will be weekly or bi-weekly. That will be determined by the contractor selected.
SEWER
Sagamore Hills is currently awaiting for a $97,000 reimbursement from the sewer district relating to sewer grates.

TRUSTEE COMMENTS
Jeff Snell reported that on April 13th, a temporary fire hydrant was hit on Canyon View by a garbage truck. This caused a mini geyser (see picture above), but was fixed the same day. The temporary fire hydrant is a part of the waterline replacement project in that area.
