Solutions Behavioral Consulting Opens Solutions Center for Autism – Ribbon Cutting and Trunk or Treat

Hub for autism services expands ABA offerings for back to school.

Solutions Behavioral Consulting, an innovative early childhood hub providing Applied Behavioral Therapy (ABA) via a multitude of educational, social, recreational, and therapeutic supports, will have an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Solutions Center for Autism at their annual TRUNK or TREAT with Social Distancing event on October 11th at 8536 Crow Drive in Macedonia. Mayor Nicholas Molnar will help celebrate the Centers’ official opening and will kick off our festivities with a ribbon-cutting at 1 pm.

TRUNK OR TREAT will look different as in years past, as SBC will be following all city, county, and state protocols. We invite everyone to set up their own trunk by contacting solutions@solutionsbehavioral.com. To learn more about the event and to sign up to host a trunk with COVID safety protocols, please visit solutionsbehavioral.com.

“I am excited to safely celebrate the opening of Solutions Center for Autism at our annual TRUNK OR TREAT on October 11th”, says Dr. Jennifer Sweeney, Founder of Solutions Center for Autism. “When we began to plan for our grand opening it made perfect sense to incorporate our opening with one of our favorite events. The Solutions Center for Autism allows us to provide early intervention services to those who need it most at an earlier age, preparing them for traditional school settings. We are excited to have a space that enables us to provide intensive comprehensive services to younger children as well as the ability to offer two additional programs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The  Solutions Center for Learning, a program for school-age students whose schools are not able to meet their needs through telehealth services, and the Remote Behavioral Support Network for school districts needing ABA services during this new normal but do not have BCBAs located in the area are now also available. We have worked hard to make sure our Center and our services are provided as safely as possible and are excited to watch our clients learn,” adds Sweeney.

The new 3500 sq. ft. Solutions Center for Autism opened on September 8th in the same building as SBC’s original space and provides an enriched therapy environment for children with autism ages fifteen months to six years. The Solutions Center for Autism’s model includes 1:1 behavioral services, small group interactions, speech and language therapy, and family support.

“Early intervention with ABA for young children with autism is vital for school readiness, says Carrie Yasenosky, Clinical Director for Solutions Center for Autism.  I am so proud when I see a child achieve the smallest victories as it yields a lifelong return.”
