SUMMIT COUNTY, OHIO— Summit County Animal Control has announced that adoptions will resume by appointment only. Residents seeking to adopt a dog or cat from Animal Control can begin calling Animal Control at 330-643-2845 starting Monday, June 22, 2020 at 7:30 AM. Residents may call Animal Control Monday-Saturday 7:30AM-4:30PM to schedule an adoption appointment.
Appointments will generally be available Monday-Saturday in the morning and afternoon, and scheduled based on staff availability. Residents and staff are required to wear a face mask during the adoption process. Adoptions are by appointment only and walk-ins cannot be accommodated.
