Summit County Cares, County Executive Ilene Shapiro’s collaborative community partnership to provide rent and utility assistance to individuals and families negatively affected by COVID-19, is once again accepting applications. Residents in need of assistance can apply online at http://www.summitcountycares.org/ or call 2-1-1.
The program, created in 2020, has provided approximately $30 million in aid on behalf of Summit County residents. It was temporarily paused in August for system maintenance.
