On March 2, 2017, Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro announced that she has hired State Representative Greta Johnson to work in her Department of Law, Insurance and Risk Management. Johnson, who has served in the Ohio House of Representatives since January 2015, intends to start her new position as a Deputy Director on March 27, 2017, and will resign her position as State Representative prior to beginning her employment with the Summit County Executive’s Office.
