Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro’s Department of Administration and Public Information was recently honored with awards from the National Association of County Information Officers (NACIO). The department received two Awards of Excellence for Writing (2018 State of the County Address) and Graphic Design (Summit County Sheriff Recruitment Card). Summit County’s submissions were selected from more than 235 national submissions and was the only county in Ohio to be honored by NACIO.
“I am immensely proud of the work my team produces every day,” said Executive Shapiro. “We work hard to provide a constant stream of well-crafted information to the public and these awards are a testament to our success in meeting that goal.”
