SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — The Summit County Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services (ADM) Board, along with its Board of Directors, ADM Support Committee, and community partners, extends heartfelt thanks to the residents of Summit County for supporting Issue 1 in last night’s election.
The passage of the levy underscores the community’s commitment to mental health, wellness, and recovery for individuals and families across the county. Continued funding will ensure that essential prevention, treatment, and recovery services remain accessible to those who need them most.
“We are deeply grateful to the voters of Summit County for their trust and partnership,” said Aimee Wade, executive director of the ADM Board. “This investment allows us to sustain and strengthen programs that save lives, support recovery, and build a healthier community for everyone.”
The Board of Directors and staff also recognized the many community partners, volunteers, and advocates who helped educate residents about the importance of the levy and the impact of locally funded behavioral health services.
“This outcome reflects a community that truly cares,” said Chrissy Myers, board chair. “Together, we are making sure that help and hope remain within reach for every person who needs it.”
The ADM Board remains dedicated to responsibly managing these resources and continuing its mission to support the mental health and well-being of all Summit County residents.
